The annual Bedale Sports Club and Community Centre inter-club sports quiz was won for the third year in succession by the Bedale Tennis Club. Organised by association chairman Martyn Coombs, the quiz runs over 5 Friday evenings and this year was the closest finish ever with three teams in the running to win, going into the last round. A total of 12 solar panels have been installed to the roof of the Bedale Athletic Sports Club and Community Centre.
It is estimated the panels will save around £2,370 in the first year with the payback estimated to be six years.
