Bedale Sports Club and Community Centre is appealing for community support following two devastating break-ins in May. Thieves stole essential grounds maintenance equipment, including a compact tractor with grass mower, and severely damaged a triple mower. Despite insurance setbacks, the club has already spent over £8,000 on replacements and repairs, leaving them financially strained.
The volunteer-run club, which supports junior cricket and football development, is aiming to raise £8,500 to cover the remaining costs. Donations can be made through their GoFundMe page to help maintain their facilities and ensure the future of their programs.
