Quiz Results

The annual Bedale Sports Club and Community Centre inter-club sports quiz was won for the third year in succession by the Bedale Tennis Club. Organised by association chairman Martyn Coombs, the quiz runs over 5 Friday evenings and this year was the closest finish ever with three teams in the running to win, going into the last round. The tennis team won with a score of 813 points closely followed by the Bedale Cricket Club on 799 points and the Bedale and Aiskew Runners on 771 points. The Bedale AFC team came from behind to pip the social team into fourth place. Coombs thanked Colin Tipton for running the bar every session and his right-hand man, Adrian Hall for running the raffle. Association president Adrian Grayson thanked everyone for the magnificent turn out and congratulated the winning captain Graeme Shepherd.
